CTE Top Scorers!

As part of our first CTE Team Meeting, we recognized our top CTE EOC scorers!  Mrs. Gloria Alston presented the "100" club for the 2010-2011 school year.  To become a member of the "100" club, 100% of the students in your class must perform at the proficiency level on the EOC.  We congratulate the 2010-2011 members listed below!

Microsoft IT Academy

Business teachers across Franklin County recently took part in a two day training on Microsoft IT Academy.   Mrs. Steffanie Sharp and Mrs. Paula Cobb from Wilson County spearheaded the training providing the business teachers with resources to successfully begin teaching the Microsoft IT Academy program.   At the start of the 2011-2012 school year students will be able to complete coursework in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Access and have the opportunity to sit for the certification exam.  Upon successful completion of the exams, students will gain a Microsoft Specialist Certification in each of the four programs.  Click here for more information on Microsoft IT Academy.
